Diagnostic Dyslexia Assessments

At Brilliant Brain, our professional dyslexia assessments provide a thorough understanding of how you think, learn, and process information. We assess both strengths and challenges to identify whether your difficulties align with a profile of dyslexia.

What Does the Assessment Involve?

  • A series of standardised tests alongside informal assessments

  • Conducted over approximately 3 to 4 hours, with breaks as needed for comfort

  • A calm, professional, and supportive approach designed to reduce stress

  • Full adherence to PATOSS and SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC) guidelines

 

After Your Assessment

You will receive a comprehensive written report that includes:

  • A formal diagnosis, if appropriate

  • A detailed profile of strengths and areas of difficulty

  • Tailored strategies to support learning or work environments

  • Guidance for individuals, educators, or employers on effective support

 

Additionally, we provide a free 30-minute online feedback session to discuss your results and recommended next steps.

 

Assessment Locations and Booking

Assessments are conducted in our dedicated assessment space or at educational and workplace settings. Please note that home visits are not available.

  • Cost: £450, including a detailed report and feedback session (valid until October 2025)
